Firstly, I Started Off With Producing My Script.. Which Gave Me A Rough Idea Of How To Start And Conduct My Video Profile Blog. I Thought About Valuable Information That Would Be Interesting To Add To My Video Profile Blog, This Was Necessary Because In Order To Keep people Interested Whilst Watching A Video Profile About You, There Needs To Be Valuable Information That they Didn't Know About you, Instead Of Stating The Obvious That Will Bore Them. After My Script Planning I Then Learnt The Basic 5 Shot Rule In My Lesson, Learning This Was Very Helpful For Me Because I Could Then Use These Skills I Learnt And Developed Them Into My Video Profile. The 5 Shot Rule Concluded The Close Up, Close Up Of The Hand,Over The Shoulder Shot Medium Shot, Long Shot.

I Wasn't Quiet Ready To Begin My Video Profile, So I Then Made A Mind Map (Which Is On My Blog)With Different Ideas, That Were Going Through My Head At The Time. I Found Myself Crossing Out Some Ideas And Adding Others, This Really Helped Me Because I Was Then Able To Make A Start On My Video Profile. I Decided To Target My Video Profile On Important Information The Viewers Might Want To Know Like My Name, Age, Where I Was Born And Where I See Myself In 10 Years Time.

After My Mind Map And Script, I Then Took Out A Video Camera From The College Facilities. And Began Going Around The College And Outside The College To Film Everything I Planned In My Script And Mind Map. I Struggled In The Beginning Because I Wasn't Sure About The Scenery I Wanted To Have In My Video Profile, But I Then Decided That Any Location I Use Is Good Because Then I Could Use Different Levels And Include The 5 Shots I Was Taught. I Also Took The Time To Film Outside The College As I Was Out With My Friend, Just Again To Show Different Location Choice And What I Do And Where I Go In My Spare Time.

I Then Began My Video Profile Shooting,I Filmed The Scenes In Places Where I Spend A Lot Of My Time, Just To Show The Reality Of My Life On The Video Profile. My Filming Skills Aren't The Best But As I've Been On This Course For 6 Weeks I Managed To Adapt All The Skills I Learnt Into My Video Profile. My Video Profile Wasn't The Full Length Of 3mins And Had A Few Seconds Remaining, But I Have Taken The Experience Of Making My First Video Profile And I Will Use These Skills And Use It To Lengthen Out My Video Profile If I Ever Get The Opportunity To Do One Again.

I'm Not Very Happy With My First Video Profile, Because I Feel I Was Very Slow With Making A Start And I Didn't Get Enough Of Myself, In There And The Other Things I'm Interested In. We Had A Very Strict Time Scale For 6 Weeks And I Can Admit I Was Falling Behind A Little Bit And Became Lazy At Some Points, But I Manged To Pick Myself Up And Continue The Work As I'm Very Interested In This Course And Enjoying It So Far.

To Improve In The Next Project I Get Given, I Shall Be Very Strict With Myself And Get Things Done When It Is Given To Me, Rather Than Being Lazy And Leaving It Till Last Minute Because This Can Succeed To Failure And I Don't Want To Fail. I Need To Also Make Sure That My Attendance Gets Higher So I Don't Miss Out Any Vital Tips In Class That Cpould Help Make My Videoes In The Future Better.
