Letter Of Complaint

Dear
BBC,

I Was Watching News Night A Few Nights Ago. This Particular Show Was Based On The Events That Took Place During The Week, As Known As "Looting" "Riots". David Starkey Was One Of The Chair Men For This Particular Debate, Alongside Others.

I Am Very Disappointed And Outraged By The Lack Of Respect, From Starky.. All His Views Were Turned Into Racial Comments And I Feel This Is Very Unacceptable For Someone Who Was So Educated To Be So Shallow. The Riots Consisted Of Stealing, Smashing Of Windows And Violence; Which Wasn't Pleasant For Anyone In The UK At The Time, But Starky Aimed All Of These Downfalls On The Black People In The UK.

One Of The Main Comments Starkyy Made That Shocked Me And I'm Sure A Lot More Viewers "Whites Have Become Black" I Was Very Disturbed And Almost Amused By This Comment, Because As CCTV Footage Showed On The News On Even On News Papers The Riots, Was Mainly A Clang Of People Who Are Multicultural. And By Taking Part In The Riots That Was Their Way Of Being Heard By The Government.

As I Said Briefly In The Beginning, Starky Is Very Well Educated Man. And He Should Know That Stereotypes Are Never Acceptable Especially When It's Making One Whole Race, Feel Like Their The Cause Of All The Problems In The UK.

BBC Is One Of The Most, Highly Respected Channels And By Them Allowing Such Ruddiness And Crude Racism To Be Shown To Millions Of Viewers Is Not Good For Their Publicity Or Image. I'm Sure The BBC Know This Is Very Wrong And Should Get Starky To Apologize For All The Racial Comments He Made, This Won't Make People Forget But It Will Show That He's Acknowledged, What He's Done And He's Willing To Put Things Right.

I'd Highly Appreciate It If I Got A Response Back, From The BBC As I'm Sure Plenty Other Viewers Are Too.

Yours Sincerely,Georgina Tarawally.
